South Asian Bar Association North America (SABA-NA)

are proud to partner and present a virtual summer book club!

Join us this summer for a relaxed, engaging virtual book club! We're continuing our summer bookclub with a July discussion centered around Mongrel by Hanako Footman — a debut novel that follows three women connected by shared themes of love and hope: Mei, a biracial woman in Surrey grappling with her heritage; Yuki, a violinist in London navigating a relationship with her teacher; and Haruka, a hostess in Tokyo's underworld.

Whether you’re a devoted reader or just looking for a reason to dive into something new, this is a space for thoughtful conversation and networking around books! Together, we’ll explore AANHPI centric stories and unravel their unique takeaways together. Come for the story, stay for the discussion, and make your summer reading a little more memorable with GAPABA & SABA-NA's Racial Justice Task Force!
