DETAILS:

Led by Thomas Worthy, the State Bar of Georgia's Director of Governmental affairs, the agenda will include the following:

Meet at 10:00 am in the House Judiciary Committee hearing room (Room 132) of the State Capitol. The Bar’s team will provide a legislative briefing re: the Bar’s agenda as well as the floor agenda of that day.

From there, we will arrange a picture with the Governor, subject to his availability. After that, we will be guided to the House and Senate galleries to observe the proceedings.

Around 12:30, the State Bar will provide box lunches. We will try to have as many members of the House and Senate Judiciary Committees join us. After that, attendees can choose to stay a little longer and observe whatever committee hearings may be going on or head home.
