GAPABA Partners with Asian Americans Advancing Justice - Atlanta to assist with a Virtual U.S. Citizenship Clinic! Volunteers (open to Attorneys, Law Students and Paralegals) will receive MANDATORY TRAINING to pre-screen applicants for eligibility to apply for U.S. Citizenship. Zoom link will be emailed to volunteers. No prior immigration legal experience is required, but BILINGUAL SKILLS are a plus.
After receiving training, volunteers will conduct pre-screening of applicant files at their own schedule, to be completed on or before August 22nd (date of the actual Virtual Clinic). NOTE: Volunteers will NOT be participating on the date of the clinic--that will be handled by AAAJA's immigration attorneys.
