The GAPABA Professional Acceleration & Transformation Committee (PA&TC) Presents: Carrying Less, Becoming More: A 2026 speaker series designed for AAPI attorneys. Join us once a month starting in June for a virtual lunch session/workshop with Liz Jin, Sasha Franklyn, and Misa Chien.

COMING UP: Sasha Franklyn on Lawyering with Presence on Thursday, July 16th from 7PM-8:30PM ET

Join us for an interactive 90-minute workshop featuring guided reflection, small-group discussion, and practical tools for personal and professional growth.

Please register by THURSDAY, JULY 9TH to help us finalize planning and receive a brief pre-workshop assessment from Sasha Franklyn prior to the session.

About Sasha's session:

This session is built for the specific pattern many AAPI attorneys carry into leadership, where the professional identity constructed to earn credibility in these institutions begins to work against the very authority they've worked hard to claim. That pattern is shaped not just by the environments they navigate, but also by the cultural expectations and family inheritance they carry alongside their careers. When those two things aren't integrated, what shows up is burnout, imposter syndrome, and the kind of overthinking that doesn't respond to more information or more confidence-building. This session names that pattern structurally, which is what sets it apart from most professional development programming. People leave with something they can actually use, not just an insight that fades by the following week.
